DOMAINE BORGEOT BOURGOGNE BLANC ‘CLOS DE LA CARBONADE’ 2022 6-PACK
IT'S BACK! Our Staff favorite is now available.
This regional wine hails from the village of Bouzeron, on a special but small parcel owned by the nonpareil winemakers of Domaine Borgeot. These brothers are most famous for their village and 1er cru wines from Burgundy's "golden triangle" in the Côte de Beaune, but this village wine from Côte Chalonnaise is not to be missed. Don't be fooled by its modest pedigree!
After three small vintages, Burgundy 2022 delivers a bumper crop of juicy, crystalline white that has the whole world talking already! So welcome back to our all-time favorite everyday-drinking White Burgundy! Those of you who already know the Borgeot Clos de la Carbonade (affectionately known as Clos Carb) know that this is a wine that, year-in, year-out drinks way above its appellation.
The 2022 is similar in style to the remarkable 2020 with maybe even deeper concentration and laser-beam precision.

6 Bottles of DOMAINE BORGEOT BOURGOGNE BLANC ‘CLOS DE LA CARBONADE’ 2022
This single-vineyard Bourgogne 'Clos de la Carbonade' is wholly owned by the Borgeots. And the wine they make there is the greatest surprise on our list. It's a small parcel, located in the village of Bouzeron, the northernmost village of the Cote Chalonnaise. But don't be fooled by its modest pedigree: the 'Clos de la Carbonade' has something special about it. And year after year we see remarkable wines that far outshine appellations much grander than Bourgogne. The Borgeot's can't explain it...yet. But there is a geological study underway to see what makes this parcel tick.
