The kitchen at Cromey, the center of all household activity, was intentionally designed with demonstrations in mind, right down to the sliding metal workshop doors. Our intention from the outset was to create an environment where the best of Burgundy could be assembled and shared. Demonstrations at Cromey are hands-on sessions where the food and wine of Burgundy comes alive.

Good cooking is based on good technique and good ingredients. Simple products become classic regional specialties. And from these classical foundations spring modern ideas. Our goal with these Demonstrations is to bring all of these elements together. Exceptional ingredients, solid technique and a modern sensibility.
At Cromey, we tailor our Cooking demonstrations wishes and desires of our guests. In out introductory demonstrations we cover the basics: the ingredients, special and classic recipes that make Burgundy a culinary destination. You will see the techniques that transcend recipes and that will give you the confidence to explore your own ideas. Furthermore, we'll spice it all with themed wine tastings that will bring Burgundy 'terrior' to the table and to food pairings.
We also do more involved demonstrations and food focused weeks. These include gastronomique demonstrations in the kitchen and bread-house at Cromey, visits with specialist chefs, artisan food producers, cheese makers and winemakers who bring Burgundy's traditions alive.
