REDS
Michel Arcelain Pommard 2012
From the village of Pommard, known for its robust and age-worthy reds, Michel Arcelain’s 2012 vintage is a testament to the richness and complexity of well-crafted Pinot Noir. This wine, with a decade of aging, showcases the full potential of mature Burgundy.
Appearance: Garnet with brick-red edges, showing its age gracefully. Nose: Aromas of black cherry, dried plum, and forest floor, with hints of truffle, leather, and baking spices. Palate: Full-bodied and structured, with velvety tannins and flavors of dark fruits, earthy mushrooms, and a touch of cocoa. Secondary notes of tobacco and cedar emerge, adding depth and sophistication. The finish is long and harmonious.
Domaine Borgeot Santenay 1er Cru 'Les Gravieres' 2021
Not surprisingly, this Borgeot Santenay 1er Cru 'Gravieres' red comes from the same vineyard as their Santenay 1er 'Gravieres' white, just further down the slope where the soil becomes denser and red. ‘Gravieres’ is one vineyard with two different soil types, apt for two different wines. Sadly, many producers have succumbed to the temptation of the bottom line, and have replanted Chardonnay where there should be Pinot Noir. But not the Borgeots!
The Borgeot 'Gravieres' red is their signature Pinot, with ripe dark fruits tinged with chocolate and coffee, rich, powerful and fat right through the lingering note of pure blackberry.
Domaine De Suremain Rully 1er Cru 'Preaux' 2018
Rully is located in the Côte Chalonnaise, a region that benefits from a similar climate to the more famous Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits but tends to produce wines at a more approachable price point. The 1er Cru "Préaux" vineyard is a highly regarded plot within the Rully appellation.
This premier cru Rully from the Cote Chalonnaise throws out a range of complexity from red currant acidity to black cherry suavity. A touch of rusticity in the tannins brings out a freshness and vivacity that makes this wine approachable now, and that will make it magnificent in 4-5 years’ time.

Domaine Jean Féry Puligny-Montrachet ‘Les Nosroyes’ 2022
From one of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations, this Puligny-Montrachet comes from the ‘Les Nosroyes’ lieu-dit, known for producing wines of exceptional balance and refinement. Domaine Jean Féry crafts organic wines with respect for tradition, allowing the vineyard’s unique characteristics to shine.
Bright golden yellow with green highlights. Aromas of ripe pear, citrus, and white peach are layered with notes of acacia, honey, and a hint of hazelnut. Silky and well-structured, with flavors of orchard fruits, lemon curd, and subtle oak nuances. Louis Picamelot Crémant de Bourgogne ‘Les Reipes’
Louis Picamelot, one of the very best Crémant de Bourgogne producers, is celebrated for crafting sparkling wines with finesse and a sense of place. The ‘Les Reipes’ is a single-vineyard Crémant made from 100% chardonnay that highlights the unique terroir of Burgundy. Made using traditional methods, this wine rivals Champagne in complexity and elegance.
Bright, pale gold with fine, persistent bubbles. Aromas of crisp green apple, white peach, and lemon zest are complemented by subtle notes of brioche, almond, and white flowers. Refreshing and lively, with flavors of citrus, stone fruits, and a hint of toasted hazelnuts. The mouthfeel is creamy yet precise, with a clean mineral finish.
